We recently moved from a Southern-European country with our 5-year-old dog, but she has been having issues adapting to her new environment. She becomes very anxious and damages our flat, injuring herself in the process. We have been using the services of different pet sitters with very different availabilities in the meantime, but we believe our dog needs stability from a single person who might be able to stay with her more or less long-term. This can be done at our flat in Midtbyen Trondheim or at the helper's place. She has an autoimmune disease in her eyes that requires she get an moisturizing eyedrop every 2h or so. Usually she just sleeps during the day and stays quiet when she is accompanied. She is usually a very sweet and affectionate dog, but doesn't work well with small children (below 7 years) nor cats, because she was abused in the past and doesn't like sudden movements. She usually gets along fine with other dogs. She is already being medicated for her separation anxiety but it takes several weeks to have a noticeable effect. The helper can easily work on the computer, including having meetings (that's what we have been doing when we fail to find a pet sitter), so this is a perfect job for those working from home. Alternatively, this job could also be perfect for someone who is retired and just wants a few extra kroner. This would be a daily small job (at least from 10.00 until 15.00; ideally 9.00 until 16.00) from 3 to 5 days a week, where we would pay you a daily rate.
